Changr

Making corporate learning easier to use

Overview

BTS, a global consulting firm, needed a corporate e-learning platform that people would actually want to use. I joined as a freelancer and later became Lead Product Designer for Changr, shaping its user experience and brand identity from 2015 to 2020.

Context

BTS wanted an e-learning platform employees would actually enjoy using. My job was to design interfaces that worked for both new hires and senior executives, and to build the brand identity around it.

Icons designed to give Changr a distinct brand character.

We built a shared framework for design and engineering. Reusable styles and components kept new features consistent and reduced the time needed to build screens.

Front-end framework built on SCSS, shared by design and engineering.

Alongside the product, I designed marketing materials that introduced Changr to BTS's clients across industries.

Changr grew to more than 8,000 monthly users across BTS's international markets.

Reflection

Five years on Changr taught me to design for a broad range of users and keep a product consistent as its team and feature set grow. The shared framework became central to both.
